I had a “photoblog” at this address starting in 2004 or so. When it started I was rekindling an interest in taking pictures. I tried all sorts of cameras and film and techniques and I got better at seeing things through cameras. For a number of years I kept up a solid regimen of posting at least one image each day. Those days are gone for now.

Fairly recently (it’s August 2012 as I type this) I moved low resolution to new hosting and decided to change the format I use here. There was a lot I got out of having a chronological archive of my photos but I also have Flickr to do that job for me. So, on this new version of the site I thought I would try to be loosely editorial with my photos and make some sets of images based on themes/content/whim.

Some sets are more archival than others and some will be “living” with additional photos inserted occasionally. The whole thing is a bit of an experiment really. But that’s what this site has always been. Iterate in public right?
